Prayers to all those enduring this brutal winter stretch in Texas and elsewhere that is having a terrible time with outages and no food and water etc.

Doing PD at home? Hang in there, brother, my mom was on dialysis for years and I saw so many people of all ages come and go in that time. It was eye opening.

And Ted Cruz is in cancun on vacation. Hilarious. This will probably be worse than Harvey when total damages get added up

I'll be bringing my decency to Prairieville in July. After 4 years of commuting from Houma, it's time to make the jump.

    Ditto.

On Northshore/LA, CLECO is flirting with rolling blackouts.

Moron that originally built/lived-in/sold me my house went all elec, no propane/NG, to avoid costs. Straight eye opener when you lose power. Circling back on my plan to put in a wood stove.

If you live on the west side you would have to deal with gridlock on the I 10 approach to the bridge both ways every time you came to Baton Rouge

My bad, shoulda said east, which is now west of me... :p

And all of BR is gridlock these days regardless. I dont miss that shit at all. The Dell is nice and open. Only gridlock is on Gause Blvd, main drag, and easily avoidable.

Yea no kids to worry about school district but the area I am in has two of the best schools supposedly. May mean some equity long term. It is blowing up though. Seems like houses are pending a sale within 24 hours of being listed. Still excited that my journey will only be 20-25 mins from work instead of 1-1/2 hours.
