It doesn't make me feel anything. I have no control over it. If you aren't sure then give me an example of something La is known for that is from up there. There is actually one and I'd just as soon not even claim it.

Written by a 20 year old kid who probably had little or no experience about life south of I-10. Thank God I left home before I-10 was built. Our former house was about a mile N of the interchange.
Isn't that sweet, a college kid wrote a story about their hometown searching for relevance. Let me know the next time someone asks about a meat pie from Natchitoches. I've been around the world a few times and its happened never. Good article though, even if the author is reaching.
i've probably been around it a few more times than you and don't disagree but your premise has more to do with ignorance than anything else..... kind of like how everyone in california works in the movie industry, or everyone from texas is a cattle or oil baron....
I've traveled around the world, both in my military & civilian jobs than probably both of you combined. From Thule Greenland to Australia and more points in between than I can remember. The last time I counted I had been to 31 different countries.
not my definition, it was the one you agreed with..... it's not my fault you were born north on I-10 and thus a northerner by your accepted definition
