If this post was meant for me my answer is; I don't flock with turkeys just to satisfy the majority view I would rather soar with an eagle.

My life experience with people from both coast and Illinois proved to me they are much worse than Texans.

Lived in Socal for 15 years, not a native. I found it a friendly place. Absolutely full of people from all over, new in town and looking to make friends and enjoy the sunshine. I had friends not just from all over the US, but from every other continent except for Antarctica. A true melting pot.

There was an LSU Alumni club that would gather and do crawfish boils, watch Tiger games, etc.

New Yorkers have a 'tude, but that's part of the charm.

I'd say, if a person has trouble making friends in a big city, it's on them. Maybe that person carries around perpetual victimhood, brings up politics too much.....who's to say?

If anything, I've had unfriendly experiences in the sort of small towns where everyone has known each other forever, nobody ever moves, and outsiders are treated with suspicion.

Glad your experiences were good mine were not. Of course mine were mainly at ski resorts. However on more than one occasion driving through Colorado have had people give me the bird as they passed me because I had a Texas plate. The ski resort incidents revolved around me being in the oil and gas business first and where I was from secondly. Believe me my experiences were real and I am not bull shitting.

Me going too slow not a chance. Think what you like but my opinion is freaking East Coast yankees, Californians and People from Chicago are 10 times bigger assholes than Texans. Texans are mainly conservatives, independent and like Louisiana people don't take shit. I like em

You're right. I should have qualified my post saying politicians were exempt.
