Even if a third party strengthened...it would only be a matter of time until it was just as screwed up as the other two. Third Party isn't the answer. It would just add another player in the same game.

Third party is kind of like alternative fuels....its probably the way to go in the long run, but what do we do NOW? That's where my angry mob comes in.

Perhaps true if it were to the left or the right of the two parties. But a party in the center would be balanced by pressure from both sides. It would be less likely to overreact, get crazy, and get corrupt.

A moderate third party would not only represent the centrists, but broad swaths of pragmatic, center-leaning Democrats and Republicans. One that could push the radical, partisan ideologues of the far left and far right completely out of power.

The center of both parties seems almost as bad. There are sweeping changes that need to be made that neither party will even touch. The two parties are in an arms race and forgot about responsibility and the people they serve or have a real roundabout and inefficient way to the solution.

    lets see,

    1. there is finite oil

    and

    2. the world will keep using oil

so, prices will go up unless substantial alternatives are found.

dont take his statement to mean prices will necessarily be up next week.
