During the TV broadcast they mentioned some ridiculous stat like Les Miles being something like 42-4 (or something close to that) in Tiger Stadium Saturday night games during his tenure. That's amazing. However once I thought about it a bit, there's 3 to 4 non conference cupcakes each season at home at night. The very best teams we play at home are almost always the CBS premier matchup which is a 2:30 start. Still, there have been a lot of quality opponents in that stretch. Who were the home night game losses against? Moo U this year. Ole Miss last year. Who are the other 2?
i remember nick saban always fighting the mantra about tiger stadium at night. tried to say its no different and we have to play the same during the day. well, you cant replicate the atmosphere that contributes to the mystique. if it was that easy, everyone would have it. and there never was an actual stat between night and day games. glad they validate what we knew all along.
Trust me I remember. That was the Rick Clausen win and John Chavis 2nd half shut down on LSU's offense.
Mississippi State 2014 Alabama 2012 Florida 2009 Tennessee 2005 (Monday) Saturday night losses are 3. FYI at the time UF was ranked 1, Bama was ranked 1, Tennessee was ranked 3, Mississippi State is 1 now but wasn't ranked at the time.
