I thought the argument was that a life is a life?

so passing judgement is ok on someone who has committed murder (sin), when the bible clearly states not to pass judgement

Im not arguing pro-choice or pro-life here, so let the be clear, I just dont understand the logic

Thats cool, and I wont derail the thread any longer. Everyone just sees in in different ways, and the bible's logic isn't always the guiding light for some.

    Now back to killing murderers...

That's why I said the evidence must be incontrovertible or he gets sentenced to life, so that he can still be released in evidence turns up exonerating him. But if convicted on DNA evidence . . . then get it over with for the good of society, the victim's family and for the good of justice itself.

You miss my point. If anti-abortion activists called themselves "Anti-choice" it would be appropriate. But they call themselves "Pro-life", when they are against other "life" issues such as the death penalty or providing public assistance to impoverished children. Either life is sacred or it is not. The Pro-lifers are using a purposefully misleading label.

I agree to some extent. I think in today's society we do not need the death penalty, but I do not think it is always morraly wrong. In most cases I am against the death penalty for the reasons I stated above.

There is a distinction between the innocent un-born and the guilty murderer though. I see no issue with pro-life person being pro-death penalty.

    Does that really bother you?

Most are classified as either because they started those names decades ago. The groups have their own individual names but when addressed by the media or speaking through the media they communicate with those names to make it easier for people to understand their point-- not to make a point. That is like getting upset at University of Miami fans because they aren't actually moving at speeds greater than 74 mph. ;)

    1. Did she have 4 years to do this project?
    2. I would hang her next to her project.
