Quote "While I am an LSU commitment, I have to admit that Alabama should have won the game. They missed too many opportunities, too many field goals. It should have never gone to overtime.” Sorry, i dont want this kid if this is his attitude. Think it to yourself, but to say that to a hometown reporter?!? Let him go try to help Bama capitalize on those missed opportunities next year in TS. If I am CLM, I pull that scholly.
Really, based on those comments? He was cheering for LSU and celebrating the win on Twitter and had nothing but good things to say about us yesterday. I am glad the coaches don't think this way.:hihi:
AMEN--- lets not loose sight that this is a 18-19 yr old kid in an electric game atmosphere and he is just talking about the hype and saying if Bama makes some field goals they win period. Truth sometimes hurts. He is still a great athelete end of story.:tigereye:
Ah, yes, that's it. I over-react in just about every thread on this board. I'm know for it...ask around :rolleye33: For one, this kid has made these remarks before. It would not surprise me one bit if he winds up in Alabama on a signing day flop. For two, with the depth the Tigers have on the defensive side of the ball, the limited amount of scholly's we have this year, and the number of kids that really want to play in BR that his "soft" verbal is holding back...id rather cut ties now rather on signing day when he potentially goes east. Then we've lost out on those other kids due to the numbers game. Just don't need the drama. So keep your smart arse comments to yourself and go play with your other little friends.
A. I wasn't implying you do it all the time. I just meant in this situation. B. I wasn't aware of any other comments It just seems like he has an objective opinion on the game. You may be right. I don't know. But from what BHelm said, he seemed happy about the victory on Twitter. Based on what I know, it doesn't seem like a big deal. But like I said, I could be wrong.
Nah he is enjoying it while he can. I haven't heard him say anything bad about LSU. Miles and Co. agreed that he should visit other places like we do with many of our recruits because they are going to do it anyway. Now if we were talking about Lorezo Phillips that would be a different story. Could he flop, sure we see it all the time but he hasn't done anything out of the ordinary up to this point.
Sorry...you wrong on this one. "Overreact much" is quite appropriate for the above comment. Every recruit that still plans on taking visits is listed as a 'soft verbal'. La'el Collins last year for instance. Yet he was never going anywhere but LSU. I don't understand why people freak out so much over recruits comments/tweets/facebook statuses etc...every.single.year. Don't you know they're smart enough to put things out there JUST to get this kinda reaction? Pulling a scholly from ANY linebacker would be plain stupid on the staff's part. Good thing is, they ain't stupid.
