    I used to watch it more frequently back in the days of Dale Sr., Richard, Daryl and the rest of the "old timers."

    I've gotten away from it in recent years too. And now that my favorite driver, Tony Stewart, is getting ready to retire, I really don't know if I'll stay interested.

    First 500 I have missed in 20 years....and I don't mind. I am not exactly done with the sport. I will continue to surround my love with short track racing but sitting through another NASCAR season is more than too much of life wasted on a sport that is currently, a shell of it"s former self.

    F Denny Hamlin. I like Truex and would have preferred he put the 11 in the infield, but the cat has too much class to win it that way.
