I went back and looked at Saban’s last few classes. He is signing 5 DL per year with 3 DL positions in his defense. Granted a few will play LB, I don’t get why they would go risk not playing for him. Sophser, phidarian Mathis would have played for us in the NCG last year. Instead Mathis is coming off the bench his senior year and Sophser never saw the field.
