Wow, you have issues, Mr. "Educated"...I wasn't talking to you anyway.

That's no different than you guys scheming your run to the SECCG. Look, when we "scheme" on an Auburn board you can take your shots. We really don't care what you think about our NC chances. All you should spout off about is LSU v. Auburn and that's still 2 weeks away

Your next game is Arkansas. Why don't you go over to Woo Pig and bring your "different viewpoints" over there. You'll find out that we are pretty tame with our responses.

Really?! And beginning your post with "Trumpet band boy" isn't a flame start???

And I'm not dissing the rest of the SEC. If you go through every single one of my posts, I've always referenced a 12-0 season to "IF we take care of business"...Never have I said anything to the fact that we'd cake-walk thru the conference schedule. And I've only proclaimed victory after someone from another school said something I didn't agree with (that's what you get when you go to another board and tell the regulars that they're putting "the wagon in fron of the horse"...And that's what I'd expect to get if I were to say that on someone else's board--so take a chill pill).

And look, dude (or girl--whichever it is), NO ONE goes to another team's forum to talk "friendly". You either go there to gloat and to talk smack. What did you expect when you came here?! For us to sugar-coat everything Auburn has done the past 2-3 weeks and tell you how great your team is and that we're concerned? Heck no! And did you honestly think that you were to come here and NOT see people talking about our sites set on an SEC title game, BCS bid, and having one of the best starts to begin a season, being ranked 6th in the nation, etc.?! HECK NO! I don't know you, but I would assume you're smarter than that! What are we supposed to say?! "Well, we're 5-0, and ranked #6--but we're lucky--and I hope no one notices our #6 ranking because I don't want people 'gunning' for us."???!?!?!

    Get a life!

An Auburn fan comes here, and I'll GLADLY say that :lsug: will win...and until proven otherwise on October 25th, I'll STAND BY THAT. Should the outcome be anything but an LSU win, then I'll give you your props--but don't think I'll kiss your butt for an entire year because of it.

Now...you'll have to excuse me, but I've got LSU football to talk about--specifically about this coming weekend's game vs Florida. Ta, ta now--bu bye!

this thread was simply about ramah's mistaken belief that LSU is better off with Auburn beating UT....which everyone but him disagrees with. This is true for the following reasons:
    1. For SEC championship purposes, LSU wants SEC West rivals to lose.
    2. Also for SEC championship purposes, LSU would rather UT win the East, as most feel our chances would be better going against UT than against UGA again.
    3. For National Championship purposes, it makes no difference if UT is undefeated or not, because we would have to beat them in the SECCG to win the NC anyway. Jockying for position in the national polls in October is meaningless.

It's kind of sad that this is even a debate. This is clear cut...it's just that one guy here doesn't have a clue.
