Wow, that sucks. You do have some options: Call in sick Show up a little early, and then throw up (or fake it convincingly), and then head back home before kickoff Use a Tivo or similar device to record the game (don't forget to add extra time to the end, since football games often go long), and hope/pray that you can get through your entire shift without hearing anything about the game. Don't forget to turn your car radio off before you go to work, so that when you get back in the car after 10pm you won't hear anything. When you get home you start watching the game from the beginning as if it's happening live. Obviously not practical at all places of employment, but maybe you work completely alone at a morgue or something like that. Listen to it on the radio, or via an audio stream via the Internet - probably more likely to find this than a video feed. Bring a TV with you to work
Depending on where he's located (Nicholson Lakes?) he may hear the cheers all the way from New Orleans when he steps outside. Can you imagine finding out by accident that they won and rushing home to go watch the replay? I don't think that would be all bad.
My wife was N.O. today and decided to stop by Sports Authority to buy a couple of Saints shirts for the kids. She said there was a line outside of the door waiting for a new shipment to come in with all the saints gear. The crowd waited 3 hours plus.
