That is something Les alluded to in his presser. They want to get back to a more balanced attack. One of the local radio hacks had an analysis of the pass to run ratios. First few years of Miles tenure it was nearly even...55% run to 45 pass. Since 2009 it was nearly 3 to one run. Something like 65% run in 09 to 75% run this season.

you call this a "damn strong effort"? i don't. our game has suffered for 4 years, all the while loading up with 4* & 5* talent at every other position...except the most important on the field! i'm afraid we also need a change in offensive philosophy, too. clm has big 10 ingrained in his dna. that HAS to change! i'm praying!

Then, if you know so much about JJ, you should know that Saban recruited him, which you asserted he "never would've." That's what Rachel was calling you out on.

Let's see, if I am Deangelo Peterson, would I rather play for LSU where I have a disappointing career, but on a team with alot of wins, or would I rather play for a team that didn't have as many wins, but my talent was showcased, and now I'm a solid 2nd round draft pick?

You are twisting my point. Offensive linemen, defensive players, come to LSU, you can get drafted really high if you play well. Offensive skill, other than receivers every now and then (Dwayne Bowe, Buster Davis) and Joe Addai, give me an LSU skill position player that has been drafted high?

IF he did, Saban sure is glad he didn't get him. Look at Saban now he got a BCS trophy with a non senior qb. He also got his 3rd BCS title. I am willing to bet you guys only saw the highlights of JJ at Destrehan while I saw that he was no where near a SEC qb which he has proven time and time again. Disagree all you want. At the end...Saban won out.

    JJ is gone. Thank God!!!!

Bottom line? It's a team game, not an individual sport. You want to be showcased individually go play in the NBA.

Again, it's not IF. In fact, JJ was at the '07 LSU/Alabama game visiting the Crimson Tide. Regardless of whether or not Saban is glad he didn't get JJ, he did recruit him. We're not arguing JJ's abilities as a QB.

Then explain to me, if you will, what happen to this 4 star qb that impressed so many coaches. How did he fail so miserably? Not just in one game but again and again. This amazing qb who can't even find his way to the NFL. How does this happen?

Can't the AD and TAF sit down with Miles and have a little discussion about letting the OC do the job he is getting paid handsomely for?
