1. Mac Brown in trouble at Texas ?
  2.

I don't know why you guys continue to say this type of thing. There are very few recruits we end up going head to head on.

In fact, if you look at their commits this year, out of the 17 only 3 are from the state of Alabama.

But, I don't mean to hijack the thread...
  3. If it's anything like our search with Saban, Sexton was probably contacted by Neines to gauge interest. But, for right now, it's aTm talking through Neines which in turn could talk to any coach out there without having to ask permission of the Ath. Director to talk to them.

I see comments all over the place about Sexton. I see very few of them saying the truth...the man is damn good at what he does. While I don't care for certain sports personalities, I'll never be one to not admit they are good at what they do...Finebaum comes to mind.
  4. Probably because rule 1a of recruiting is trying to sign the top players from your home state. It's only natural that Bama and AU would be going after the same guys from time to time. But if what you say is true and there's only 3 recruits in the whole state of Ala that you guys deem good enough to play for you, then I see your point.

  8. Wow, that long ago . . .
  9. Well, you must consider who LSU's coach was for that @$$ whippin'...
