If the game starts as scheduled we will be having the local Cuban Sandwich(local version of po-boys!) but stuffed with PORK! ... and a couple of Mojitos in honor of those working ...
ESPN360 if you can get it. www.channelsurfing.net and www.justin.tv are both very likely to have live video feeds. Geaux Zone will have free LSU radio, and KOZN 1620 will have free Westwood One radio
I brought a bottle of Wild Turkey with me to the office. Ready to turn on the radio and start drinking.
Tarp is on the field, it's raining, and a little more is behind it. Good news, it looks clear after that and the composite radar is lagged about 30 minutes behind realtime. Omaha is at the far right of Nebraska, about halfway down. NWS Enhanced Radar Mosaic: Upper Mississippi Valley Sector Loop
LSU's College World Series 'Press Box Blog' - LSUsports.net—The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics "12:28 p.m. We've just been told by the NCAA that the game is officially delayed. The tarp is on the field, and it just started raining again. The NCAA has also said that it'll be 80 minutes from the time the tarp is pulled until the first pitch, as it will take 30 minutes to remove the tarp and prep the field, and another 50 minutes for warm-ups. Stay tuned."
On the bright side, many more LSU fans will be home by the time the game starts. I'm going back to bed. See you in two hours!
