LSU lucked out on the misplay in LF followed by the miscall by the umpires, but the batter still followed with a base hit, so the world balances out.

 

We miss Landry's defense. I suppose there is a reason he is not playing.

After a base hit and walk, Mahtook made a diving catch in CF and then Ranaudo struck out the next batter to end the inning. Going to the bottom on the 2nd.

 

Cept a triple would have scored a run. A single was left stranded. :wave:

 

thank you umpire and mahtook for keeping them scoreless that inning. had the ump not srewed the pooch they woulda scored on the liner to center.
