boo hoo... i already edited my post before your weird post here, because i remembered he just had heart surgery. How did you forget to mention that? Also, Cajun, speaking of loyalty to LSU sports, come on, are you serious? Be real.
just a bad night offensively. no hitting, base running errors..... now lets hope its out of their systems. team needs to be clicking on all cylinders tomorrow so we can take it in three!
Folks, Texas has the top-rated pitching staff in the country for a reason. Time to suck it up and take care of business. We already know they can do it, so let's stop b****ing and put every bit of support behind our Tigers tomorrow.
Well, folks, I certainly didn't mean to get down on our Tigers... Watching the games in the hospital last week kept me up at a very DOWN time. I count on the Tigers - and they can count on me. But honest criticism isn't a sin - I was disappointed in their play tonite - as I imagine most of us were - but I'm not a fair weather Tiger - I've been a Tiger longer than many of you have been alive. I wasn't at my best tonite. Neither were the Tigers. However, I expect both the Tigers and myself to be better tomorrow. Geaux Tigers - And don't stop till you win it all!
Amen, brother. They say adversity focuses the mind. And you don't play with the big boys on the biggest stage of em all without running into adversity. CPM will have this team focused tomorrow, you can take that to the bank.
I seriously don't think LSU bats will be held in check forever. I seriously think Raynaudo will pitch a great game today. I seriously think the best two teams in the country are LSU and Texas. I used to not think so about Texas, but I gotta admit I was wrong about them. This is what championships are all about...Two hot teams peaking at the right moment to lay it all on the line for just one game...gotta just love it!! Whichever team has the most heart will take it all tonight. It won't be luck, or breaks...or officiating...or mojo. It'll be pure will. I seriously like our chances...:tigereye:
I figured that out in the 4th inning. I'm on EDT and had to get up early so I went to bed after the DP in the 4th. If I had watched the whole game, I would have been wired and slept little and I have a couple of important meetings today. That said, the thread deteriorated badly after the 5th. 1st, some sh*t kicker baits about half of you into a childish argument. Then the crybabies (who don't understand that a good pitcher on his game can make good hitters look bad) start in on LSU players like they are not even trying to win the game. These game threads are hard to read. A good number of you should just watch the game and back away from the computer. By the way. After Byrd left, our bullpen performed remarkably, it seems.
i think this is the one positive you can take from last night, other than Jared Mitchell and DJ seem to be the only 2 players who can hit Texas' starters.
