As SabanFan would say it's too and LSU was 0-7 with runners in scoring position. That's a definite recipe for a loss.
Yep!...It sucks that one guy can have so much influence on a game. Unless he's ours. Hopefully Rinaudo will be on tomorrow. LSU's batting average dropped from .342 to .305 tonight. We still have better hitters and more power so if we can get equal or better pitching, we'll be in good shape.
Great Texas pitching and soft LSU hitting killed it. I hope someone lights a fire for tomorrow. They looked like they didn't want to be there. They better bring the hot bats tomorrow! :geaux:
Oh well... we will take it home tomorrow night! Texas pitching tonight was tremendous and we never got anything going. :angryfire
On the radio, they just pointed out that LSU has lost back-to-back ball games only once this year! Have faith, you of little faith!
I think LSU is the most complete team in the country. I knew we could be beat but have always felt good about winning every series. So we take it in three instead of two. Either way it's the same result! :yelwink2:
To any Tiger fan claiming "shame-on-LSU"... The real shame is you not being grateful for how great LSU is. Most would love to be fans of a school as great as LSU, most would love to be fans of a baseball team as great as LSU, even right now, right this second.
This loss in Game 2 to Texas reminds me of the loss to Vandy in the opening game of this year's SEC Tourney (LSU's last loss). The Longhorns' Taylor Jungmann had untouchable stuff tonight, as did Vandy's Mike Minor in the SEC game. Texas beat LSU 5-1; Vandy beat the Tigers 4-1. No team in the nation could have beaten either pitcher on their respective nights. LSU bounced back to win the SEC Tourney. I can't imagine their bats will be shut down two games in a row by Texas. LSU should win Game 3. Geaux Tigers. :tigereye:
John, NEVER doubt Padman's loyalty again, ever, and for that matter just geaux away. Your insistence on drilling every comment that does not suit you or your ideas has grown old. For the sake of argument, don't.
