I don't think we needed until last night to figure out that Texas is a really good team. But we've also known for weeks that Texas is a very lucky team. You can't depend on luck all the time, sooner or later the worm turns and the other team gets some good luck.

phew! I will break my self imposed silence! I did not realize he had not made a single pitch on the mound. I was busy cooking hot wings on the patio and must've missed that.

Yeah, we all saw the belt on tv. But hey, they had plenty of time to cut/break the belt before passing it along to her. Would have been disgraceful for us to have done it as well. It was a cheap dirty tactic.

I didn't really mind the HR skip. I know the kid was just excited about hitting one out. I was annoyed by the curtain calls because the situation really didn't call for one and thought they were showing us up, but whatever.

I must've missed them cussing at our players. I've heard this mentioned a few times, but never saw/heard it myself. Has this been verified? If so, that's beyond classless and hope Karma catches up to them again.

Did you get a chance to drive back up?

I agree that they are just kids, but the homerun skip was a little over the top and the belt thing really kinda pissed me off.

True dat. Going into last night, Texas was 39-0 when leading after 8 innings.

I don't really see much difference between this and Matt Flynn feigning being injured to get a broken chin strap replaced.

The only thing I saw during the game was after they retired the side their pitcher was yelling in the direction of our dugout. I'm trying to find it on ESPN 360 now, but i'm not sure what inning it was.

For those of us who watch the game you are right, we knew, but for those that thought UT was riding soley on a lucky star, they found out. You are correct in that their, somewhat luck will not help them against us. It will be skill against skill, and great coaching strategy that takes this series. So far, LSU +1.
