i have a couple of friends that live off of ohio in plano. the thing about D/FW is its overloaded with Texas and OU fans. and it also has a very strong LSU following. I remember going to Greenville Ave a few years ago the night before the Texas/OU game, and i would make it a point to go there and wear my LSU jersey and Tiger Bait all of em. I would get some dirty looks from some people but for the most part its a really cool place to be the night before the red river shootout.
I'm excited! This is now the second LSU team playing for a national championship (after the football team a year-and-a-half ago, of course) since I've been living in Korea. Usually, that would drive me crazy to not be in Louisiana with other fellow LSU family and friends fans, but TigerForums has certainly made my time away much easier. I'm looking forward to watching baseball championship #6 (and LSU sports championship #2 for my time in Korea) with all of you! GEAUX TIGAHS!
LSU first: LeMahieu grounded out to 3B. Schimpf homer. 1-0 Dean caught looking. Gibbs caught looking. LSU 1, Texas 0 - Bottom 1st
