Wow, no way I strongly disagree. When your pitcher is giving up homer after homer that isn't an option, I don't care what happened in the rest of the season. It wasn't like Coleman was somehow going to get it together after being drilled all game.
He had one bad inning, in which one of the 3 homers was actually a good pitch. So you yank him just like that? That's no respect to the guy who decided to come back and win a championship vs becoming a pro.
Not sure why this new pitcher for Texas isn't showing up in the NCAA stats. Those ESPN stats they just flashed on the screen showed him with a 2.34 ERA in 57.1 IP, which would make him #14 in the NCAA by ERA (min 50 IP)
