I wonder why the 1st link quit updating? That was my main source of info.

 

Question....

If I end up with no house, or a house severly damage beyond the point of being habitable, how do I file for FEMA assistance? For me it is a rental property right now until I can move back down there, so I will be losing a source of income.

Anyone know the procedure?

There is a tropical depression forming right now, the weather channel guy said he expects it to form into a tropical storm in about 2 days.

Some good news with the latest advisory. It's taken a more northward motion. Hopefully this is not just a wobble and it will continue to move more to the north, or even NNE.

Yep, the best case senario for NOLA is for it to start turning more easterly, God I hope this happens.

You can get a claims form online. You'll get a claim # after you submit the app, I believe. Be prepared to give them a lot of information and wait a long time.
