Just what's the reasoning behind this one? I'm sure you have one - just thinking through my most simplistic, initial response: Arizona St. is an LSU opponent, so a loss by them hurts us. Even if there's a secondary relationship between Penn St. and Arizona that makes an Arizona win hurt Penn St... wouldn't it be a wash?
The problem is that Penn State's sucky teams scheduled suckier teams than the team our sucky teams scheduled and that just blows. Make sense?
Ah yes - well then I suppose that explains it quite well. Incidentally - I'm emailing back and forth with my Longhorn Fanatic brother in law griping about it all and the last thing he said was "Yeah - 3 BCS bowls in 5 years must be rough. Not to mention being 2-0."
I just went through the SOS of the computer polls and was surprised by how low all the SEC teams' schedules ranked in all the polls. Probably averaged in the high 50's. Absurd that you can play Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and have 60 teams that play 'tougher' schedules. I guarantee you there are not 60 teams that can sweep those three teams.
What if..... USC adn UT both lose this weekend????? I think UCLA has a better chance at an upset than TAMU....... :geauxtige
bama homer ranked West Va., Texas Tech, Wisconsin, Ga. Tech and Michigan ahead of Auburn. Guess he didn't like the Sackfest Saturday.
