last night i saw a college football program on the nfl network. they had terry donahue, a tiger rag guy, and a comparable VT guy on. they were all gushing over lsu. it was embarassing. the vt guy did say they had a chance (slim). i bring it up because it included the first analysis of vt's D. evidently they always play 8 or 9 in the box, leaving man coverage on the wrs (although it seemed like their int return for td was in zone). evidently they always expect great play from their cbs. shoulda played em last year--couldnt do that against jr, db, cd and ed. hopefully mf, ed, bl and company will be able to exploit that. im worried that the young wrs wont know what to do well enough. we'll see.
