Re: Crowton to Bears? *rumor* The if Game and a big if IMO: If BG is OC there is a chance Tolbert would enter back into the picture. The main reason we did not give him more money is because he would have not been available to recruit until a month or so after the NFL regular season. Miles did not want to be left with one less recruiter down the stretch so Miles did no budge on the offer. Now he is not really needed for recruiting with Wilson and BG in their roles and Tolbert has no job after the entire Bills staff was fired. With Crowton gone, we might have a little extra money to pass his way if we wanted him. I don't see it playing out that way however.

Re: Crowton to Bears? *rumor* Tolbert would be a nice addition to any staff but I don't necessarily think it would make sense to have 2 WR coaches and no QB coach..unless Billy Gonzales is a super secret QB coach on the side.
Re: Crowton to Bears? *rumor* See my buzzkill comment. All I have found is a lot of talk about Mike Martz and Jeremy Bates from USCw. Not sure that it means anything or not, surfing bears message boards now and haven't come across GC's name once. Still looking though. If nothing else I will join and put it there.

Re: Crowton to Bears? *rumor* They dont really seem to be to high on GC over there either. Maybe if he went there only as a QB coach. This has the feeling of just talk. Hope I'm wrong though.
