I don't mean to be condescending and this isn't an attack on you specifically, it just seems ragheads is thrown around quite a bit here.

    Partly
    Sure you are!
Yes, I'm realistic, you say if conservatives would work for a living meaning that they don't.
I would like to know that percentage of citizens who work for a living versus
those that live off the system and which party they vote for.
I guarantee more people who do not work vote for the democrats so they can live scott free.
Nowhere in anything you stated did you say you were kidding btw.

I NEVER said that republicans haven't been on welfare or received government assistance, go back and re-read my post.
I said most conservatives do work meaning that I reallize some sponge of the
system but there is no denying that more democrats live off the system.
Anytime I see the word corporate used, thats a red flag.
I guess you prefer government and thats why you vote democrat.
There are plenty of crooks in government as well, probably worse than private sector.
By the way mortgage companies, look at how much money fannie may and the other gave to Jessie Jackson's coalition.

Chile's social security system for instance, I haven't read up on this subject in some time.
Politics as usual here, I won't defend bush or mccain.
I am a fiscal conservative and neither one is and neither is Obama.
OBama will also raise those taxes + gas and energy taxes as well.

This is just crap here, I won't go any further.

The point is everyone is assuming he is a conservative, nowhere does it say that.
People are also assuming conservatives don't work so I assumed liberals don't either.

I disagree, when a conservative or republican does something its mentioned what party they belong too, liberal, its not mentioned.

Unfortunately conservative kooks do these things but its overlooked the liberals kill babies by abortions.
I didn't know there was such a thing as a liberal church or a liberal going to church btw.
I don't think I said most liberals don't work or conservatives aren't drawing unemployment or that either don't go on welfare from time to time.

The key is Republicans not conservatives here.

So the democrats can do a better job at raising taxes and outspend the non-conservative republicans of the past eight years.
EDIT: I didn't realize Bush and the Republican congress was running in this upcoming election!

    Got an example?

Bush isn't, but the Republican party that supported him (and still supports him) is running someone who is likely to continue those failed policies. And all of the republicans running for Congress are having trouble explaining why they are on the wrong side of so many issues from the American people.

Why do so many Republicans here feel the need to demonize Democrats? They are American as well. Blanket generalizations and partisanship are hammering a wedge into this country. I think most Republicans would be surprised to find they agree with most Democrats on many things. It really seems low to bash half the country because they don't agree with you on every subject.

If we're going to try to categorize everyone, maybe we should add a new category called "Lunatic Fringe" that takes in the conservatives, liberals, democrats and republicans, Catholics and Protestants who are just plain WACKO! regardless of their other affiliations.....

The nut job that shot up the church can then be assigned to a group that offends no one....

You know, sort of like every family has a black sheep. (And some have escape goats.....):rolleye33:

Well that explains it, though I think what is closer to the truth is that they are wooed by the forbidden pleasure of blaming someone else and feeling superior. Dems like you and I are immune to that, however. :thumb:
