I do a lot of shopping there. Their seafood and meat department is the best around. I pick up live blue crabs there all the time for like $2.99 a pound. They have fresh jumbo shrimp, redfish, snapper, and its all really good prices. About half what you pay at Central Markup. They have a huge section with all the cajun seasoning too. Slap ya momma, all the Louisiana and Zatarain's crawfish boil, injector marinade, gumbo file, etc.

Their marinated chicken and skirt steak is unbelievable and really cheap too. I grab a couple pounds of each and throw them on the grill. Makes fajitas as good as any restaurant.

    way ahead of you.
I'm putting some barges under the house, and installing an anchor system.

The land may geaux, but I'll still be here. Then I won't have to leave the house to go fishing :hihi:

Prices should be plummetting around here now that lent is over.
A fellow a couple blocks from here (always most expensive around) dropped from $2.10 to $1.75 since last week.
Meaning the place I would normally go is probably down to $.80 or somewhere around there.

Saw someone in an earlier post mention blue crabs.
those are going for $4-$5 a dozen for regular $7-$9 for selects.
My source sells a lug of them for like $40 bucks ($3.35/doz), but you gotta buy the whole lug. He doesn't sell shorts, and he don't separate sizes either.
You get them however they came out of the traps and into his boxes.

I usually go to the one at Abrams and Skillman. It's closer to my house and it's pretty new. (less than a year old). I did get the crawfish I mentioned earlier in the thread for the one on Ross though because they were out or them at the other.
