Not a typo. I get them in Houma. Feller normally sells them at 0.99, but I get a lil discount because our company buy some from him on a regular basis.

Will you be wearing any LSU garments on the float, or do you have to go strictly Irish? My husband is making us go (I better have time to go work out first!) because we have one of those O' surnames. He wants our daughters to be in touch with their Irish side--I'm in charge of their Cajun education...which is why I was asking about the crawfish. Thanks for those links.

I wish I had known about the Central Market event. That's only about 8 or 9 miles from my house.

We called yesterday and were told he lost $60 last time because he misquoted us. :insane: They will be $1.89/lb this weekend. Just 4 sacks now.

The Dekalb Farmers Market in Decatur has live crawfish and crabs. I don't know what the price will be like this year, but last year we got a sack for $120.

In Houma the prices are hovering right around a buck. We paid .99 last weekend.

They're full of crap. Any farmer who could average 75c per pound over the season would be happier than a jacked off dog.

The price falls EVERY year as the peak of the season approaches- warmer weather. We're talking THOUSANDS of pounds/ day here.

Friend of mine from Cameron (Crain Brothers) you've probably heard of them- they had a dog that, when you pointed your finger at him and said, "Bang," he'd roll over like a dead man (Or I guess in this case a dead dog). Anyway, that's how they'd trained him to do it. :hihi:

I'm sure you know why a dog licks himself.
