Hell they just did what we all secretly wanted to do anyway.

Oh that bunch with two 5th rounders and three not drafted???

I'm glad he came back though. We need for him to carry-on the Petterson/Jones effect and pass the torch. And by that I mean to teach the youngens what he was taught.

?? All our DBs that left got drafted...FS Reid 1st R, CB Simon 5th R (they will be replaced by Ronald Martin and Jalen Collins) and TM7 3rd R

Year before that, CB Claiborne went 1st R (Jalen Mills filled the opening he left), S Brandon Taylor went 3rd R (Loston took his spot), and CB Ron Brooks went 4th R

Had Loston left after his junior year, he'd have been drafted too

Honestly not trying to argue but you said he would've been drafted like all the juniors who left last year. Or maybe I misread.

May have been drafted but most likely 4th or 5th round, no? I don't watch NFL and don't pay much attn after their last college game so not sure but figure him returning was due to low draft projection???

And I'm not sure what year before has to do with this but he's no Morris Claiborne- to this point anyway.

He'd be gone by 3rd round most likely. He claims he came back because he had not yet lived up to his own expectations. One last chance to ball out.

So A&M just had a guy get ejected for targeting a defenseless receiver, and if this call stands, and the ejection stands, Craig Loston may get ejected every game. This is ridiculous, it's coming to a point where defenders are going to have to allow a receiver to catch the ball and then try to make an arm tackle.

Isn't the point to dislodge the football?

Hopefully it is a first week example being made. Remember Wing was the only time a team lost a TD for taunting.

Well I hope he lights it up and will be pulling for him to. He seems very grounded. To come back and also to have stayed out of trouble, must have good character. That should carry a lot of weight in the draft too.

Here's to Loston having a banner year. *raises drink*

*taps my 2nd beer of many tonight against yours*

He'd have gone 2nd-3rd R had he left. He wants to boost his stock and play one more year for his beloved alma mater. He did so well last year, that along with Freak (who also did great last year), they are the only two Tigers being named preseason 1st team All SEC and preseason All Americans.
