I guess you guys have never fought to make more money in a contract or at work or on an investment huh?
Heard on sportscenter that his agent has backed off of that statement and said they don't negotiate in public. Sounds like something an idiot family member said that the media ran with. I don't think that's at all the stance Crabtree and his agent are taking with the front office.
Let's see... A redshirt Sophomore enters the draft from Texas Tech. He's supposed to good, I guess? Good luck with that, douche-bag
Exactly what I was thinking. Balk at his statement and see how much he gets from a team next year. Dude could go from top 10 to 10th round just like that. Would probably be the worst business move in history. I actually share a birthday with this fella.
The guys trying to make more money. What's the harm in that. He's definitely taking a risk and if he sits out, there's no question he'll make less money. I just don't begrudge these guys for holding out. If they get hurt, they'll get dropped like a sack of potatoes. Football is a business.
Crabtree needs to realize he'd be making LESS MONEY over his career if he sits out. Financial suicide.
Its not the fact that he is sitting out...your right they do it all the time and if they get hurt they get screwed. Its the dumbasses reasoning behind why he thinks he should get more money. His arguement is on the same level as if a veteran player demanded his team pay him more money because he was the OVERALL Highest Fantasy Football player to ever be taking with more #1 picks!
