I am a staunch conservative. I dont vote Party I vote ideology. Thus I have never voted for a Democrat.

IF Bush. I repeat IF BUSH DOES NO Invite the National Champions as determined my the system College Football has in place to determine the National Champion..

I wont vote for Bush in the next election. It wont matter because he wins the State of Texas by 98%. But I wont vote for him...

Dont worry I wont for for a Democrat either, I will just stay home.

Not hardcore my friend. I am a patriot, I am a right winger through and through, but I also respect honesty and integrity. I also dont like when my people, my state and my pride is snubbed and ignorance prevails.

Ignorance, Dishonesty, and Integrity never exsisted when the Clinton rapist was in office.

But if Bush ignores what those kids and this state accomplished because 48 people thought USC got a bad deal.

I will not vote for Bush, I like GW, I really do I think he is a decent guy... But as sad as it may be, I wont vote for Bush if he ignores LSU...

Like I said it would merely be a protest vote. Since i live in Texas my vote does not matter anyway, Bush will win this state 98% to 2%.....

Its the right thing to do. I hate to tell my party this, but if Bush does this he could lose Louisiana... He better be careful on this one. I am serious. I was a republican stategist in college and did intern work for the Romer Campaign and some local campaigns. The Louisiana people are very passionate.. He better be careful.

Bush is not that stupid. It's a split championship in most minds and he won't snub the "co-champion". If he does he's getting awfully bad advice.

I think you are right SabanFan, last time there was split both teams actually visited the same day. I think Saban is going to try and organize a game of flag football. We'll kill them. A mobile QB is a must in flag football, the national chamion flag football teams comes from LA almost every year. And we can line JaMarcus and Flynn up at blocking backs. I can't wait to see it.

If GW doesn't invite the Tigers it will be purely political. A lot more electoral votes for California than Louisiana.

I'm sure that if he was aware of how strongly LSU fans feel about it he would invite the Tiger team and coaches to the White House also. I believe his email address is [email protected]. I'm also sure that somebody other than Bush reads all the email at that account but if there was a larger volume of well written respectful non smack type email stating our feelings that the president would be made aware of it.
