I've had the good fortune to meet their lead singer (Randy Owen) on several occasions. We even had dinner with him and his wife in Myrtle Beach about 12 years ago after one of their concerts. Got together and showed them around Thibodaux a few years ago when his son's college baseball team played against Nicholls. They truly are two of the nicest most down to Earth people you will ever meet. Good old fashion southern hospitality to the core. He has a big cattle sale at his place every May. Last year in the sale brochure, he even include a little shout out memorial to my grandfather (who passed last January) on the cover.
Ive "worked" with Mr. Owen a few times on some fundraisers and other things. Truly is one of the nicest guys Ive ever met and does more for the state than he has to. He does a lot for St. Judes and helps out tons of local kids and their families.
his oldest daughter was pretty hot back in early/mid 90s. haven't seen since, but I hear she put on a couple pounds when she stopped playing basketball.
