All this points to coaching, not the players.

It's disconcerting, to say the least.

Nobody's star fades after the first loss after a championship season. That's ridiculous. I was at the UAB game when Nick Saban kept the idiot Booty in, while Davey rode the bench. I can't recall Miles loosing to a cupcake like Saban does.

The only thing that worries me about Miles is that he's a loyal guy, and he may keep the co-coordinators much longer than he should. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll go anywhere unless they get a coaching job somewhere else. If that's the case, we're in for rough times.

    WestCoast,

LSU lost 31-0 to Bama at home under Saban. You don't have to go back that far.

I think WestCoast plays with his sausage when LSU loses. That's how it seems anyway. I remember him from last year when LSU lost to Arkansas posting 500 times. He was going to the SEC Championship before they lost to Arkansas, but changed his mind after they lost to Arky if my memory serves me correctly. I remember him saying that the game didn't really mean as much. Well, since he is a 100% pessimist, he was 100% wrong. Despite his thoughts, LSU still won it all last year.

We do have some big issues for this year. But give it a rest...

We had a defensive gameplan?

Several teams had already provided a good road map of how to give Florida fits by applying pressure specifically up the middle. We did nothing that even closely resembled pressure. I hope Peveto and Mallory are ashamed of themselves tonight, and truthfully all season.

Look, I'm sorry you didn't think Miles was great when we got him, and that you are too stubborn in your ignorance to admit you were wrong.

    Deal with it.

LSU lost @ Florida 21-51 -- Florida was a team that the vast majority thought was better than LSU coming into the season.

As for not remembering even DiNardo losing this bad, you have become delusional.

    1996 Florida 56 LSU 13
That team finished 10-2 ranked #12 in the Nation.

"NS's players" scored 12 points ion the National Championship game. Les Miles players scored 26.

"NS" never landed the top players out of Florida & Texas & Louisiana. Les Miles has.

In "NS's" 3rd season, was his "star fading" after losing 5 games that year? By contrast, Miles has lost 7 games in 3 1/2 seasons.
