1. Happens to me all the time :thumb:
  2. Yeah, that's the same way they're lost, too but he was the one not talking about now ma brutha.

btw, I wanted to tell you that my initial post in that thread you started was tongue in cheek and no disrespect meant towards your father- I think you know I would own up if it was intended like that. After it took off with the NC/Conference title debate, I just went with it, I'm sure you have no trouble recognizing that either. :)

When I went back and read, some of the posts alluding to making connections and I understand how it could surely be viewed as such so I wanted to clear that up in the open since the perceived dis was also out in the open. I did mean what I said about the BCS title's meaning but that was disagreeing with his view on it, not him and it was really some other yo yo's I was discussing it with.

That's it though, last time you ever get any slack from me.
  3. that's all I want this weekend....give us a chance to curse Wanstedt's name some 137 times.
  4. from the espn board...

this I had to lol at.. also the idiots throwing it in our face that we loss to 2 unranked teams with more then 3 losses...

Why doesnt the rest of the country understand that if you play the hardest schedule in the country you will have let down games against teams like Ark/Ky. Granted we should of beat them, but damn.. if you fight the best teams week after week it is a grind...

Give LSU a break like the wait till the bowl game and I would be comfy facing ANY team in the country...
  5. Everybody pulls for an underdog.
  6. With Mizzou and VTech both losing, the computer polls could finish about like this:

    1. WVU........... 1.000
    2. Ohio State..... .960
    3. LSU.............. .920
    4. Kansas.......... .880

that would be the absolute best that LSU could hope for if WVU wins (probably won't be that good, LSU would probably finish about .900)

Given a .960/.920 difference, LSU would have to go ahead of tOSU in the human polls by an average or .020, which is not a big margin (55 points in Harris, 29 in Coaches).

The problem is tOSU is a solid #3 in both polls. If they were a weak #3 (Georgia right on thier heels, e.g.) I would hold out a little more hope.

Ahh, screw it, just beat Tennessee so badly that they fire Phat Phuck Phulmer. I could live with that.
  7. How is this the optimum scenario? Seems like we'd need VaTech to win and Mizzou and WVU to lose for optimal results. I'm not the BCS guru though, so I'll step aside and defer to you. Please explain.
  8. I admit, I'm not very good with the smilies, they kind of get on my nerves. Was definitely kidding there. But it is funny how you started that thread before the Ark game, but now we need to focus only on the SECCG. Hmmmm. :hihi:
  9. I am assuming WVU wins (99 percent chance that will happen, unfortunately).

If WVU loses, LSU "should" be #2 in the BCS. Virginia Tech may still have to lose, I am not as convinced as others that if we both win out that we surpass Vtech. Vtech gets a slightly better boost in the computer polls than we would this weekend and will possibly slightly increase their computer lead (.020 difference could expand to .040), which puts that much more pressure for the human voters to "get it right". I'll take a Vtech loss versus that scenario, thank you very much.
  10. I can certainly understand that, but doesn't it help our cause if VaTech wins too? You have them losing.
