The Medicare drug plan is the absolute least the Republicans could do on that issue for seniors while the Republican Party protected its chief concern, which is protecting the drug companies and their profits. The drug companies are one of the stockholders who own the Republican Party lock, stock, and barrel, along with the oil companies, the auto companies, energy companies, HMOS, and other huge companies. The Iraqi War is something that could go either way, a wild card in the election. I tend to think we will end up with Bush for another four years with heavier Republican majorities in the Senate and House. I think the right wing revolution may become a reality over the next twenty years. It is a revolution based on giving the country to the Fortune 500 companies and, on a few social issues, to the religious right. It has nothing to admire about it, and the people who support it are chiefly voting out of greed, fear of minorities, fear of gays, and a selfish disregard for the elderly, the poor, and the unfortunate, while they vote in a greedy concern for what they see as their own self interest--chiefly I want mine NOW, and to hell with anyone else. The people who support it deserve no respect whatsoever. And they will get none from me.

You are making us look bad. Reagan's tax cuts simply were old Keynes economic theory. If you run huge budget deficits (which Reagan did--so much that it was irresponsible and ran this country into hopeless debt), you will stimulate the economy. Reagan knew that when the bills came due for his spending party, he would be long gone. The first Bush and Clinton had to clean up that incompetent piece of crap's mess. It took years to do it too.

I not pissed off in the least and as far as my day being ruined just because some wacko called me "right wing filth" nothing could be farther from the truth. I'm sure you will be happy to know that I'm having a great day. I finished my Christmas shopping without once having to set foot in a mall and then it being such a beautiful day I put the top down on my Mercedes 320 SL convertable roadster and took a long drive at high speed on River Road from LSU to St. Gabriel and back. LSU is beating Southern Mississippi and as soon as the game is over I will be enjoying a delicious meal of barbecued jumbo shrimp and seafood gumbo with a beautiful lady. The only thing that could make my day any better would be if I would win tonights $116 million Powerball so that I could afford to retire and spend more time exploiting the less fortunate.
