Our OL is atrocious. Putting Howard behind that now would probably ruin him.
Let's not forget what happened when we put Jarrett Lee in against Bama prematurely and with no protection.

 

I couldn't agree more. JD is the best we have and we just have to face it. Moving forward, CBK has to make OL/DL a top priority in recruiting because you win games consistently by winning in the trenches. Right now, our OL is getting manhandled and our DL, with the exception of Olajuri, has not been very impressive. We have to start landing 5-star OL/DL year in and year out, if we truly want to compete for NCs regularly.

I have come to hate TAM more than Bama.

I have a second job at Walmart I work self checkout. I can jokingly make fun of any fan wearing their team colors except TAM.
They are a bitter humorless fan blasé.

I’ll say sorry I can’t help you today because of that shirt or something like that and then point to my LSU pin. I always get a laugh or a smile. Except TAM they will get upset and think I am serious. They have a major stick up their ass.

TAM really has not done anything worthy of the respect they think they deserve.

Think about it the last time TAM won a National Championship was 1939 when the US Navy was still flying bi-planes off of aircraft carriers.

Living among many TAM folks here in Dallas, I continue to be amazed at their self-perception of being a football powerhouse. Their 'championships' come from the days when anyone could claim one if a single poll named them as number 1. And they have obviously never won the SEC West division much less the SEC Championship. But I guess facts don't matter to them.

 

I hope he stays for our sake. I don’t want Aranda in the SEC unless he’s at LSU (or if the SEC absorbs Baylor).

 

Jimbo might be getting closer to that $100 mil buyout.
