Well, Saban lost 4 games in his final 2 seasons....Miles has lost 4 games in his first 2 seasons. Seems to me that they are doing a pretty decent job....WITH THE SAME PLAYERS.
In all honesty you would have to say that Nick didn't have to deal with a disaster in the area, distractions, etc. I really am not trying to defend Les Miles here or Nick Saban. I like Less but the verdict is out for the next 2 years as far as I'm concerned because we've been down this road before if you know what I mean.
Saban lost 4 games his first season and I can't understand why everybody likes to talk about Miles getting Saban's players when considering the following: I was a big Saban fan (still am) and hated that he left us but he did leave us so screw Saban and support Miles. :yelwink2:
To me, I think one thing Les's teams are doing better than Saban's is win and win big against the teams that we are supposed to beat especially at home. In the past, I used feel as though LSU was a team who played to their opponents ability but so far this year we have destroyed every team we should have. Does that mean Les is a superior coach???? Probably not...but I sure like the trend.
He only had 3 losses to unranked teams: UAB, Ole Miss, and Auburn (which you can't fault him for cause they are always sick when they play us)
Next year will be the true test for Miles. More of his recruits will be playing and a favorable schedule. It sets up nicely for a trip to Atlanta. The seat will get very hot for Miles if we don't get to Atlanta.
SEC Championship= Honor Roll National Championship= Banner Roll  Next year will be another great year just like this one will end up after we put the beat down on our two SEC neighbors. :thumb:
Another thing I like about Miles is we have not been totally blown out of the water like we did in 04 at Georgia. We are in every game now and we beat the piss out of the weak teams that we play.
Yes. Hallman could not coach himself out of a wet Schweggmans bag, but the man could lie to parents and kids like no one else.
