    Their records are quite similar.
Archer was 17-3-1 through the same number of games.
I don't know if that means anything just yet.

But neither Archer nor Dinardo recruited like Miles. Miles also has a lot better staff and Miles lets them coach. Dinardo did not, he was to controlling.

Remember neither, K.Williams, R. Dickson, nor C. Scott are Saban's recruits. They are Miles. So we are winning with a mixture of both coaches players.

    True, and add Francois, LaFell
On the bench: Cutrera, Deas Woods, Eugene & Perrilloux- we are in good shape, our future looks good.

Hope we can keep McNight in La.

Which is why I still think it is too early to grade Miles one way or another.
DiNardo did allow his assistants to coach, that would be why our defense fell into the sh!tter when Lou Tepper showed up.

Sure he "could" be a good coach. I'd go so far as to say he IS a good coach. I don't think with the money we put out and the references, past expereince, we would hire a "bad" coach.

Time will tell if he continues to be a good coach, medicore coach or a great coach. It's just to early to know. Case in point. Most had no clue Saban was a great coach until right before he left. some still havent figured it out. lol

Well past experience shows that all coaches go through rough years. Look at Joe Pa, Bobby Bowden, Bob Stoops, Mark Richt, Kirk Ferentz and Mack Brown to name a few. These guys are considered top coaches and none of them have been able to have a dominant program year in and year out.

Honestly I think a lot of it has to do with who your assistants are and finding equal or better replacements or firing them when they're not cutting it anymore. When Stoops lost Pelini and his brother Mike to other jobs, his program took a major step back on defense. Also look at Mack Brown when he hired Auburn's DC away from them. They're D got a lot better.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Nick Saban ever won in Knoxville?
Les Miles has in his second season as coach not that I think he is a better
    coach btw.
    Food for thought!

Just for the sake of arguing, he never lost to them in Tiger Stadium either.

Seeing as the only other LSU win in Knoxville was in '88, I'd say you are correct.
