I still like Piccadilly. I like the format, it's quick and ladies bring you refills.

I hear that, sonic is up there with chik fil a as the kings of fast food.

Tots are clearly superior to fries, I dunno why they are not more available.

Cortana was too far from my house in oak hills subdivision. I got books from a little bookstore in the shopping center across the street from what is now Perkins Rowe, which I can't decide if I think is stupid or awesome

I remember when it first opened in the late 1980s. I started going to LSU for grad school in the fall of 1985 and used to go to Cortana Mall mainly to go to the Electronics Boutique that was very near Mama Brava’s. (It was two stores to the left of there, and in between them was a Karmelkorn, which was later a Subway).

The Babbage’s appeared in either 1988 or 1989, and it moved to the location in the photo above sometime in the 1990s. I live in New Orleans but would always visit Cortana whenever I’d go to BR just to hit the two electronics stores there.

I’ve never really been a fan of the Mall of Louisiana.

Ahhh, I forgot about the Spaceport! I went there when I was at LSU then some years later brought my son in there to play the games (he was little so he just watched me play the games).

I miss that mall... it was my favorite.
