Jerry Lees, Greenwell Springs Road in Central.. Without question the best Boudin and Boudin Balls you will ever eat. On Game day they are packed. Its a convienient store (Yes I know) but trust me on this one.
I agree 100%, no place better. I have been getting boudin from there since I was a kid. Still, buy it there everytime I make a trip back home to BR. For boudin balls, you need to get to Tony's over on Plank Road....but don't throw them. They are too good to throw a pretty boy Herstreit!
Fowler said on Gameday last week in Ann Arbor that if both Jawja and LSU win, they would be in BR this weekend. Straight from the hossies mouth...
Call the Best Stop in Scott ((337) 233-5805 Not sure if they ship or not.) for the best boudin around. All of Acadiana will tell you that. My father-in-law's store makes boudin, and he will tell you that they try to make it like Best Stop. If Best Stop won't ship, email me and I can get you in touch with my father-in-laws store (Sunset Specialty Meats) in Sunset, LA. For you Texans out there, try Cajun Stuff located in Houston.
Game Day I think it's great Game Days coming. Great Exposure for the program, and much better if we play well or win
Why does Herbstreit dislike LSU so strongly? Two years ago before the bowls started he said the only sure bowl lock was Ga. Tech over the Tigers in the Peach. Talking about the Arkansas win over Texas on Saturday he said that Arkansas is the team to beat in the SEC west - no mention of LSU. What did we ever do to him?
Pretty boy talks to impress folks. If he knew so much he would be coaching instead of sitting next Corso. Next he'll be talking about Iowa being the team to beat in the Big 2 Little 8. I don't care what either of them say. I don't want them picking LSU because they jinx us, especially Corso.
