How do you reconcile that if flattening the curve "doesn't" reduce the number of people exposed how flattening the curve saves lives???? If you get it, you either die or you dont. Right? Also, if you believe the data, since we have shut the country down, the death rate has gone up....
the difference, again, is church is a place where the point of going is to assemble. the point of lowes is to go in get a ligh bulb and leave.
Did you deliberately ignore my reasoning? That you live can and usually does depend on the quality of care. If there are so many cases the hospitals are overwhelmed then more people die because they get poorer care. In extreme situations like happened in Italy a brutal triage became necessary. People were selected for ventilation based only on age. Logically more died because of the care received that had the hospitals not been overwhelmed. SAME NUMBER GET SICK....FEWER DIE. GET IT. Second fact. As doctors gained experience in how to treat people with CV-19 they save more. They have learned of more medicines and procedures that work and which don’t. AGAIN THE SAME NUMBER GET SICK...FEWER DIE. Flattening the curve doesn’t prevent people from catching it eventually it just gives them a much better chance of survival. Now do you understand?
I don’t believe that. Without the media sensation, I doubt people with the mild cases even noticed. Would have looked like an abnormal flu season.
Believe what you want but it doesn’t change the facts. Of course you believe the earth is flat the moon is made of green cheese and there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
