Take all the budgets for the levee board of the last 50 years, combine them, and you still don't have enough money to build cat 5 levees. Lot's of people are. Where have you been? Most people who didnt evacuate stayed by choice, not because of limited means. You take out the 10,000 who showed up at the domw before the storm, and you still have 190,000 more in the city. Who hasn't pointed the finger at the do nothing hag?
He's talking about in relation to the racial aspect. You have people saying that white people caused these problems for blacks. That's BS. LSUDeek has pointed out a couple ways which black people created these problems for themselves.
And just for clarification, I work with a few black people here at LSU that are just as intelligent as anyone I know, very capable & will be very successful. One of them even grew up in the 9th ward. So if I say a general comment about black people, I don't mean it necessarily applies to every one of them, but just their culture in general.
