Makes you wonder if maybe something else was going on. He was a devastating blocker and could run in short yardage. I know the fumble was a bad one, but it does happen. Even the great ones fumble every now and then. His season and career were basically over after that one bad play.
I think it was just that Neighbors was just more accurate when it came to actually blocking the defensive player that was in the hole. He played more in control than Copeland imo. Copeland is definitely a beast but I thought he went after the wrong guy way too often.
Seems to be a very likeable guy. Definitely felt bad for him after that fumble -- a score there and we're looking at a different game. Anyway, I wish him the best.
