    Wolves do travel in packs.
I think it is a good analogy because the team is the pack. Saban is the almighty alpha male.

Umm, Tigerfanintampa, are you refering to the Southern Miss Golden Eagles?

    Because, um...

    1. They are not in Alabama, they are in Hattiesburg Ms. 1.5 hour north on New Orleans, and...
    2. The last time they played LSU was in 1994 where they beat LSU at Tiger Stadium, despite being in a small unknown conference.
    3. OleMiss and MissState bishes refuse to play them non-con because the combined record of USM vs OleMiss AND Miss St. is 23-13. Not good for recruitment.

Don't get me wrong I bleed purple and gold, but don't crack on a team that has always had very rough non-conf schedules (Nebraska,TA&M,Penn,LSU,Fl.State,Alabama,Tennessee) and consistenly manages to be nationaly ranked year after year, the last 2 years exluding, unike a certain team (<cough> LSU vs MidTenn, Citadel, LaTech, Ark St. ) who we all hope wins the national champ this season, but has only had recent national respect for a couple of years.

So take that "Alabama cow college" crap and shove it.

Geaux Tigers, but don't dis my Golden Eagles...

I'm excited to see Adrian Mayes at safety. He was an animal in Atlanta when we needed him against Tennessee!

And by far my favorite Tiger, Cameron Vaughan for laying the game winning hit on Eli last year. That was great LOL!!!

An easy mistake to make since Auburn has so many names to choose from. Maybe instead of War Eagles he was thinking of the Minnesota State Screaming Eagles from the sitcom Coach

Cool... "Saban IS the almighty alpha male..."

I don't feel right about my quote being so close to the "Skipper's" words though.

I was talking about Auburn you idiot. Did I not say "IN ALABAMA"? Let me explain this to you. Alabama is a state entirely different from Mississippi. But then again, based on the quality of education in Mississippi, you might not know this.

did anyone see his quote about

Arkansas Qb Matt Jones? He was talking about how LSU won every game in which the LSU QB was more efficient that the opponent, except, Ark.

He alludedto this fact and finished with - "and he couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a handful of sand."

The guy is a quote machine. And he outworks and, in my opinion, outcaoches every other SEC coach. We're in for a lot of fun over the next 4 or so years.
