    i also prefer dont get wooden spatula as it dont get hot whilww cooking,more comfortable to handle,and even prevent from shock,as compared to metal

    I have a wooden cutting board that I purchased and have had no issues with the wood or bacteria. I hand wash it and then after a couple of washings, apply wood oil to keep it from drying out and splitting.
