WHAT? Be gone Satan! I kid, vball, I kid I went to church on Sunday (! a first since Christmas!) and the gospel was the one about Christ and Satan (cough, Vball, cough ) in the desert...the one about the whole temptation thing...anyway, if you did buy the cookies and not eat them then that is a great accomplishment. You are a better woman that I, Okie!
I am not a big sweets person so I don't give them up for lent as that would be too easy! With that said I end up with 40 boxes of girl scout cookies that I never eat because every child I know believes I am a sucker...of maybe because I am... Alright hopping on next plane.... I am NEVER getting to PR at this rate~
Who are they? :hihi: I may not be Catholic but I still spent Sunday mornings in Bible study. I'm a heathen Protestant.
i meant to say i could eat a box in 10 minutes. we played cards the other night and someone just happened to break out their collection of girl scout cookies they were trying to avoid. must have been like 6 boxes that were destroyed. i learned those peanut butter ones arent much easier to stop eating.
not at all. thats why i only ate a couple. it saved me. i almost went and poured me some milk so i could do serious damage.
i am having a harder time avoiding the little pushers outside the grocery store. i came close to making eye contact with one of them yesterday. luckily i looked away before i was reeled in.
I have students constantly asking me to buy the cookies. The past few years, I make a donation--and they send the cookies to Iraq to the soldiers. I do NOT need those calories.
