Good information here on the applications useful for macs. Thanks much. I finally bit the bullet and just ordered a mac book pro. Im actually using it to replace the PC I use for music recording and at the same time move all my production to Logic Studio from Adobe Audition. Many of my online music friends are using Logic and it makes transferring sessions back and forth a breeze. Logic Studio is a little pricey at $499 but actually cheaper than comparable music production software considering the boat load of plug ins, synths and effects that are standard in Studio but extra on other recording products. All my recording buddies have been raving on the macs and Logic for a while now and this thread pushed me over the edge to finally buy.
