That's the wool that's pulled over everyone's eyes. That you have a choice. You have a choice if you have dollar bills. Where did you grow up if you don't mind me asking? Let's take 2 people for example: Person A is a white male, grows up in Goodwood, has both parents, can go outside and play in the neighborhood as a child without parents fearing something will happen to their child. Person B is a non white male, could be mexican or black, and is raised off Chipewea. Parents struggling to make money, dad gets fired, mom works 2 jobs just so they can eat, and she can put cheap ass clothes on the kid. Do you not see the unbelievable advantage person A has? And then if you want to make one of the choices you talk about, you have to have money. It is what it is, and while I agree with you that people can rise up from poverty with some determination, and strong will, it's highly unlikely. You can't exactly just say to yourself these days, "man my job sucks, think ill go out and get a better one today" I work in the labor market, and the only thing out there now are highly skilled positions and entry level bullsh!t. As far as the contraception thing again. I don't see it as an attack on religious freedom. All they would really have to do, is create a rule that says if for any reason you are found to be having sex out of wedlock, your membership is revoked. There will be a loophole they can find. I would much rather pay for preventing more worthless ass people being brought into this world sucking up all of our resources than my tax dollars going to fund the DEA, or some stupid war. And if you think about it, by making religious institutions provide birth control, now these institutions can weed out the people they deem unworthy of membership. Plus don't birth control pills have other uses than just birth control? Don't alot of women take them for hormones or to control their cycle?
you really do want the government in our bedrooms. this is a magnificently bad idea, even for you, a man overflowing with terrible ideas. edit nevermind i see what you mean now and your point was not as stupid as i thought.
No, re-read that. I was talking about a religious institution revoking membership if a member is caught have sex out of wedlock, or going against their religious belief. If they aren't a member of the religious institution, how can that institution be forced to pay for their contraception, or birth control, or morning after pill or whatever. **** no I don't want the government in my bedroom any more than they already are.
One can also get synthetic progesterone injections. So many side effects such as increased hair on the face or body, weight gain, decreased libido, hair loss, to name a few. It's easy to see how these shots could make one a real b1tch.
Nothing was missed. Out of logic? Where is logic in this? "Others want freedom not to have another's religion beliefs imposed upon them." -Red55 This has not happened AT ALL......
I grew up in Lake Charles... Anyway, life isn't fair. People come here from different country's, jump the river, or straight out of the ghetto and make it.. Some don't. Life will never be perfect. Strong eat the weak even in nature...
It happens all the time. Atheists can't buy liquor on Sunday because of religious beliefs of others. Jews have to deal with Christian national religious holidays.
And white people have to deal with black history month.. Your point? Still no forcing going on.... I thought we were talking about people forced to work for the church and becaused they were forced, they are now limited on health care coverage...
