As a UK fan I was overly happy for the CATS winning (finally) an important football game. It is a big plus for our program. I see some of you are giving up on LSU making the BCS championship game. I'm here to tell you even though you lost today are still the best team in college football and I still feel you will be playing in that championship game. OSU , South Florida, USC and California are no where near the team LSU is. I know its a tough one to lose (and believe me as a Wildcat fan I know about tough loses) but the poll voters will get you back there at the end of the season. Great game and good luck to the Tigers the rest of the season.
I agree- Kentucky's entire team had this game ready from the get-go. Congratulations. I'd like to believe that if we had played this game BEFORE we played Florida, it would have ended much differently. But that's silly. I'm ok. I told everyone I knew that we were jumping the gun- that this season, we had 7 games (counting the SECCG) left to be played, and that we had a fair chance to lose every one of them. I've seen LSU lose before, in only 20 years of life, and I'll see them lose again in hopefully many many more years of life. I'm keeping this one in perspective. My lifelong dream of simply seeing LSU playing a game as ranked unanimous number one has been achieved, and I am fine with the loss. It was a fantastic game for the ages, and we cannot win all of those epic battles.
I wish some of us had as much class. You guys deserve all the credit for this game. You outplayed us and seemed to want it more. I hope you win out and we'll see you in Atlanta.

You guys played a great game, and like someone else said, the universe is now making us repay our karmic debt for stealing the blue grass miracle. I'm not so sure we're the top team in the country anymore (very mediocre passing attack). So... great game UK, but don't lose focus. Beat Florida.
Hi UK fan. I think this was the second biggest win in Kentucky history...the first being the win over undefeated Oklahoma in the 1951 Sugar Bowl. I'm hoping for a repeat of Frand Curci's 1977 SEC championship.

I just read about this on a UK board. Apparently LSU fans trashed the singing of "My Old Kentucky Home" before the game. "I must say that was the most classless act by a visting team ever. Don't chant LSU during my old kentucky home. We don't do that when we go to your house. I have much respect for LSU but that was a very classless act"
