Glad they won because the refs tried to screw them with 2 no call PIs in the end zone and a very questionable PI on the last SDSU scoring drive.

 

Bowl game threads have always been allowed. I'm glad it was left so if any UL fans stumble onto it they may see it's okay to support one another.

I thought the refs did a great job other than the crap call on the last SDSU drive but they could've blamed themselves had they not won. They left enough points on the field due to their own doings.

 

Why would Louisville fans care about the New Orleans bowl? I don't think they had a dog in the fight.

 

Louisville is "U of L", now go away, troll.

 

Some of our fans are just as guilty. I know PLENTY LSU fans that have always, ALWAYS trashed the other programs in the state with the only reasoning to be "because the rest of you suck!"

You're probably one of those LSU fans that want UL, Tech, Monroe, etc. to all go 0-12 just so you could LOL in the face of them to help you get over an LSU loss, or frustration about something LSU related.

LSU is the flagship university of the state. It's the platform that all of those schools tried to reach. College football today will never allow it. The gap between the haves and have nots has never been greater. But that doesn't mean mid-majors still can't strive to be respectible and competitive.

And if a fan from one of the other state schools wants to hate on LSU and root for Bama? Who cares?!! I simply respond by saying, "Well, that's too bad. I cheer for the other LA teams when they aren't playing LSU....but, don't let your envy make you bitter." ...they rarely have anything negative to say afterwards.

 

Not my experience at all. My ULL friends have been pulling for the Tigers each and every year.

Wow! what a game!!!!!!

 

They were flag happy from the git go. SD QB never got touched and not 1 holding? I saw several.

 

I was glad I was able to catch the final exciting minutes of the game.

The way ULL kept on playing , they are very deserving of the win. Good for them.

I agree there were several blatant non calls (def. PI's) on the part of the officials in the end zone on the 2nd to last ULL drive.
