Welcome to the board tailback. I guess your fans and our fans should start getting used to each other. We're neck and neck right now. Hope it stays that way for the rest of the year and we get to meet in the Sugar Bowl.

And did someone let lsutiga out of his cage again? Does he cause problems on your board?

Just kidding. He's a great guy (or so I've heard).

Highly unlikely the two of us meet in the Sugar, but the game a week later? Hopefully so.

Welcome to the board, TBU! Good to hear 'tiga represents SOMEWHERE!:hihi:

What was the reaction out west to the game last night? I've been looking for some college feedback on TV all day, but all they give me on Sundays is the NFl.

    Speak for yourself, Reggie.:hihi:

Most of the reaction I have seen has been that they are impressed. Some try to bring it down to earth by saying VT is not as good as advertised but I think that is self serving. LSU took VT behind the woodshed and delivered a good ol' fashion arse whoopin' and they were a top 10 team according to most rankings.

FWIW, most also respected the ovation the LSU fans gave the VT players before the game. Great sportsmanship!

Gonna be an exciting CFB year.

you are so right, tailbacku. with all the upsets and people dropping out of the rankings barely into week 3, it can't help but be a great CFB year.

i'm anxious to see how USC does against the Ducks and the Bruins this year. Hope to see you in New Orleans!

We appreciate the good works and welcome to the forum. I think the chances of USC and LSU meeting in January is very good, so long as neither one of us loses focus.

This whole LSU-USC matchup is turning out to be the best CFB matchup that never was. What I am trying to say is that these teams have been needing to get it on for so long now it actually hurts. I thought last year would be the year in the Rose. I was already to go on that one. :bncry:

Whether we meet this year or not, I at least would like to see the schools try to do a home-and-home 2 game series between us. It would have to happen soon, and I know it is probably too late to schedule that. :( Let's hope something finally happens.
